Had lunch. Starter (Haggis/Black pudding/Tattie scone stack) was very tasty ... Excellent. Christmas turkey was excellent as well. Gravy, stuffing, roasties and mash were equally enjoyable. The pear crumble and anglaise was superb ! Very enjoyable meal. Absolutely nothing was poor or average.
We had a great stay. Loads of free parking, friendly helpful staff. Communications prior to ckeck-in were excellent. Our room was large with a very comfortable bed. Great facilities and everything was very clean. Breakfast was amazing. We Will definitely stay there again.
Great venue. Menu had a great selection and the two course set menu was a fab deal. Great price,fab options. Fairly busy for thur night early dinner. Decor lovely.
Really enjoying our stay so far. Car parking easy. Fabulous introduction to the property at Hotels Reception. Dined in for lunch. If tonight’s dinner is as good as our lunch we are in for a treat. We both highly recommend trying here; food or accommodation.
We had a very tasty meal and starter of haggis, black pudding and tattie scone is delicious and haddock was so fresh and tasty. The staff very kind to our grandaughter who was celebrating her 3rd birthday and service exemplary. Fabulous idea of little people making own pizzas it was such an enjoyable eating experience for her . We have been several times and will return it’s a place for all generations to enjoy together! Thank you for candle on ice cream and banner she loved it.
Enjoyed a lovely meal on Sunday afternoon. Colin said the roast dinner was one of the best we’d ever had as were my mussels. Wines were great & Brook our waitress was lovely- looking forward to our next visit
We visit WinterStorm Festival every year in Troon Town Centre, we have been back to the Loans Inn 3 times now. Always have an amazing stay. The food is excellent as well. Top service at the bar on a nightime after we return back from the festival. Got to give a huge shout out to Brian who has served us each night over the last 2 visits here. His service is fantastic and always delivered with a smile, what a lovely genuine man, credit to the place. Can I also give a shout out to Amy, who has been waiting hand and foot for us, again perfect service all around. Thank you all so much. Hope to see everyone again next year. Merry Christmas in the meantime........
Laura and Emma provided excellent service. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The food was plentiful and of a high quality. I especially loved my Hot smoked salmon and prawn salad.
